SAFETY IS A CRITICAL COMPONENT OF EVERY TREO OPERATION. TREO'S UNCOMPROMISING SAFETY STANDARDS KEEP OUR PEOPLE SAFE.
Everyone at Treo is working to achieve a workplace that is free of injuries. Safety is in every employee's job description. We train our people in how to use tools and equipment safely in a drilling environment. Hazard identification and management is a part of everyone's daily routine. We hold regular safety meetings and we conduct job safety analysis to identify workplace hazards and implement control measures to avoid them. Our sites and processes are reviewed regularly to ensure employees are following best safety practices. Treo's ability to manage employee safety is reflected in our industry leading safety record.
Core drilling is a physically demanding process that uses powerful and complex heavy equipment that's operated under arduous conditions in often remote, cold locations. No question, it can be dangerous. That's why the safety of our employees is a core value of Treo's.
Treo's safety programs are in accordance with recommendations for our industry from the Alberta Energy Regulator and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety. We also adapt our safety practices to follow specific guidelines that our customers may have for their operations.
Treo's safety programs exceed the criteria for a COR Certification from Alberta Human Resources and Employment. We also participate in ISNet, Avetta and Complyworks industry safety posting programs.
